About Us

A little bit about Maggie + the creation of Fever Dream.

Starting a boutique was once a “fever dream” or even a “pipe dream” for Maggie Lamb, owner of Fever Dream. But with a variety of professional experiences and refined skill sets, she has grown into the successful business owner and entrepreneur she is today.

Originally from Jefferson, Georgia, Maggie began modeling at the age of 11, immersing herself in the world of fashion early on. The idea of owning a store always intrigued her, and she ultimately took the leap into entrepreneurship while still in her 20s.

“I just didn’t think it would happen this early in life,” Maggie says. “So, it's a dream come true.”

Before launching Fever Dream, she gained a wide range of professional experience. She modeled, conducted neurofeedback therapy for four years—three of which she spent running her own neurofeedback practice, and worked in retail.

In February 2025, Fever Dream officially opened, giving her the opportunity to fulfill her dream. “I really just want to see how far I can take this and how big I can grow it,” she says.

Maggie continues to draw inspiration from the world of couture and high fashion.

This inspiration serves her well. To market and sell fashion effectively, one must first understand it.

When you walk into Fever Dream, you immediately sense the creativity and deep understanding of fashion: from the décor and wall displays to the hat bar, where customers can customize their own trucker hats and, of course, through the merchandise itself.

“The most rewarding part is seeing the confidence boost on my customers’ faces when they find an outfit they really love, and just building a community here, having regulars and repeat customers,” Maggie says. “Everything is rewarding. Nothing is negative… except for the admin side,” she jokes.

With her passion for style and her appreciation for how clothing reflects identity, Maggie Lamb clearly has what it takes to turn her dream into a thriving reality

Customer Reviews

Great selection of women’s clothes — tons of classic, trendy, and even some vintage options, and the owner had excellent styling advice. The hat bar is such a cute idea, and I would be perfect for a girls birthday party or team event!

It’s so exciting to have a new boutique in town that is size inclusive, has fun accessories, vintage options and a hat bar! This definitely fills a void in Watkinsville. Must visit!
